Rwanda’s Youth are a major asset of the Country and key drivers for sustainable development, if empowered and well-motivated. The Country has implemented a series of programmes derived from the National Youth Policy since 2006. Most of these programs mainly focused on Youth participation, mobilization and social welfare due to the challenges of the time.
Approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in 2015, a revised youth policy focuses on socio-economic empowerment of the young generation with a clear alignment to EDPRS 2, especially with its thematic area of Productivity and Youth Employment.
Youth Centre Coordination Officer (Under Contract) .

Job Description
The Youth Friendly center Coordinator is responsible of:
Coordination of activities:
• Coordinate all activities of the youth friendly Centre;
• Supervise and coordinate the youth Centre staff;
• Represent the Youth friendly Centre in all activities at Sector and District level;
• Collaborate with local authorities, other partners and all implementing agencies to empower young people;
• Ensure funds mobilization for the Centre’s activities;
• Ensure the efficient mobilization and sensitization of youth.
Management of funds and equipment:
• Ensure the effective use of resources and equipment’s /materials of the Centre.
Report & Monitoring:
• Conduct monitoring and evaluation of activities at the level of the community;
• Prepare different reports and ensure that they are submitted to the concerned authorities.

Job Profile
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Management, Public Administration,
• Having served in Youth structure is an added value
