About ARC Power:
ARC Power is a mini-grid energy utility company that provides 100% renewable, productive use of electricity to rural villages across Rwanda. We are fast-growing, ambitious, and have a fantastic team, which we are now looking to expand.
About the position:
Position in ARC Power's generation and technical team. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to sample and learn all aspects of designing, building and maintaining ARC Power's unique generation systems.
Aspects include civil engineering of sites for generation components; electrical engineering of the internal generation system, including wiring installation, battery, solar and inverter configuration and quality control checking; troubleshooting using cloud systems and technical knowledge; international and regional logistics; data analysis.
Successful applicants will have 3 months training period, after which they will have the opportunity to state preference of which aspect they enjoyed the most and we will form more specific job responsibilities. .

Preferred applicants may be:

• A fast learner. This role is complicated, interesting and has a lot of responsibility which requires high levels of determination to learn;
• ARC Power has a commitment to gender parity in its employees, so we are looking for female STEM applicants;
• In possession of an excellent understanding of physics, electrical engineering and/or mathematics;
• Experienced in off-grid solar projects;
