Course prerequisites:

Having the reasonable knowledge on accounting and tax

Having basic knowledge on Microsoft excel

Having personal computer

Targeted audience: Business owners, accountants, tax officers, finance officers, finance managers, business advisors and university graduates from business related studies who are interested to pursue their careers in taxation.

Topics to cover:

Corporate and Personal Income Tax (CIT/PIT)

1. Overview on deductible and non-deductible expenses for tax purpose
2. Key changes and considerations during the CIT/PIT 2024
3. Controls over certain lines of the declaration form
4. How to use “Online requests” menu in e-tax system
5. How to fill the different annexures for CIT/PIT declaration according the tax regime.
6. How to claim tax advances and any withholding taxes retained under customs or by public institutions
7. How to fill ledger account for expenses not requiring EBM
8. How to submit the final CIT/PIT declarations and generation of the acknowledgement receipt

The deadline for registration is on 27th February 2025 and the course is scheduled ON Saturday 1st March 2025 from 8h30 AM to 4h00 PM.

Registration is confirmed after payment.

Training fee is RWF 75,000 VAT exclusive. It covers the Lunch, refreshments, training materials and certificate.
