JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To support the Chief Audit Executive in ensuring Internal Audit strengthens the Bank's ability to create, protect, and sustain value by providing the Board and Management with independent, risk-based, and objective assurance.

Key Responsibilities For This Role Are:
Assist the Chief Audit Executive to ensure Internal Audit Objectives are achieved.
Ensure Department Strategic initiatives are implemented.
• Playing a key role in Bank Risk Management (Money Laundering Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance Risk, Liquidity Risk, Market Risk).
Leading the process of setting and evaluation of KPIs for the unit.
Coordinate, supervise and guide the assurance audit team and provide guidance on audit procedures and techniques.
• Lead and manage assurance engagements, including financial audits, operational audits, and compliance audits.
• Develop risk-based audit plans and audit programs to address key risks and objectives.
Review workpapers, findings, and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standards.
Communicate audit results and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on outstanding issues.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CIA/CPA/ACCA, or other relevant professional certification.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in internal auditing, including supervisory roles.
Being familiar with Banking industry (Operations, Processes and Risks).
• In-depth knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to lead audit teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with audit clients.
