CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Expression of interest Number: PROC/01/2023

1. INTRODUCTION.

UNWFP with offices in Kigali, Rwanda is undertaking an exercise of updating its supplier's roster and hereby invites expression of interest from prospective suppliers and service providers.

WFP will draw up a list of suppliers and service providers who meet the criteria set out at point no3. Each time a specific tender is to be concluded; WFP will invite all vendors on the list of the relevant categories of goods /services to submit a tender.

Inclusion on the list of WFP Vendors does not mean that a company shall be invited in all tenders and does not constitute any contractual relationship between the company and WFP, it only means that if included in the database, a company will be given an equal consideration in process of supplier selection.

2. LIST OF FOOD COMMODITIES, GOODS AND SERVICES.

A. Food

• White Maize Grain,
• Maize Meal

Beans

Rice

Sorghum

B. Office furniture, Equipment and Services

Office chairs, cabinets, drinking water, stationaries etc)

• Printing services and promotional materials
• Insurance of WFP vehicles

Supply and maintenance of security equipment and Services,

 Firefighting equipment and service

colection and Disposal services.

•  Cleaning Services

• Electrical Equipment and Maintenance services

Electrical appliances, Forklift etc

•  Minor maintenance/repair service

Office maintenance and repairs (Plumbing, masonry, carpentry, etc)

Medical/Pharmaceutical supplies

Construction and Engineering equipment and Works,Painting services

C. IT Services

Office Equipment and Maintenance-Photocopiers, Binders, Typewriters,

• Electronic Data Processing equipment (Computers, Laptops, Servers, Printers, Scanners etc)

Maintenance of IT equipment (Computers, Laptops, Servers, Printers, Scanners etc) Telecommunication equipment and services

D. Warehouse Equipment

Warehouse materials/equipment (fumigation sheets, tarpaulins, pallets, packaging materials, bags etc)

Weighing Scales, Thermocouple etc

E. Consultancies

Consultancy services (Retreat facilitation, leadership program, conference, etc)

• All types of consultancy services (Agricultural, Nutrition, School Feeding, Social Economic Development, monitoring and evaluation, Food System, Market Assessments and Value Chain Analysis, etc)

3. CRITERIA FOR INCLUSION IN (One or More) OF CATEGORIES OF SERVICES OR GOODS.

In expressing your interest to UNWFP, the prospective suppliers and service providers must submit the following requirements, and this shall be the criteria for inclusion and exclusion from the vendor list.

a) A cover letter addressed to: Supply Chain Unit UNWFP introducing the prospective suppliers/service provider and a brief business profile,

b) Certificate of Registration Incorporation, Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association,

c) VAT Registration Certificate,

d) Letters of recommendation from at least three reputable public or United Nations institutions /organizations/agencies,

e) A complete set of audited accounts for the last three years.

Expressions of interest must be sent to the WFP Procurement email:rwa.procurement@wfp.org with the subject "Expression of Interest N° PROC/01/2023.

And should be sent not later than 08 December 2023 at 15.00 Rwandan Time. No expression of interest will be received after the closing date and time.

This exercise may include an interview with the applicant, inspection of applicants' office/premises, facilities and any other items of interest to UNWFP.
