Job Description

• Coordinate the preparation of the annual Agriculture Sector Capacity building plan
  
• Ensure or Organize and oversee the implementation of the developed Agriculture Sector Capacity building plan;
  
• Coordinate the internship program in the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources ( Professional and academic internship) in collaboration with different stakeholders or partners;
  
• Coordinate the short term and long term training of all partners in the agriculture sector
  
• Produce different needed the capacity building reports to be submitted to the competent authorities in collaboration with the concerned department
  
• Facilitate the network with all partners in terms of capacity building and funding
  
• Identify and organize collaborative partnership with selected trainers or capacity development experts to meet the set target;
  
• Develop a range of specific sustainable training programs in agriculture sector;
  
• Carry out on a periodic basis the capacity needs assessment in order to collect the useful data in the development of skills gap document;
  
• Monitor the trainees and trainers to provide a relative report on the training process;
  
• Develop partnerships with networks of professionals to share experiences in the area of capacity development;
  
• Coordinate or align training modules to direct beneficiaries of the training on the basis of best practices and the principles of "learning by doing";
  
• Ensure support to updating and modelling of all training guides and manuals in the agriculture sector.
  

Job Profile

Ao in Business Administration,Human Resources Management, Education and Management, with three (3) years of working experience in the field of Capacity building or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Education and Management,

Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:

• Knowledge of Agriculture sector;
  
• Knowledge of Capacity building procedures, technics and strategies;
  
• Interpersonal Skills;
  
• Communication skills;
  
• Negotiation Skills;
  
• Problem solving skills;
  
• Analytical skills;
  
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage.
