Vacancy Announcement: KIGALI- 2023-016

The Embassy of the United States of America in Kigali is recruiting for Chauffeur position. The position is open to All Interested Candidates/All Sources and available to start immediately.

Duties:
The Chauffeur operates and maintains serviceability of Defense Attaché Office (DAO) motor vehicles for transport of the Senior Defense Official/Defense Attaché (SDO/DATT), DAO members, and DAO visitors to various locations within Rwanda and neighboring areas. The job holder Responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of four (4) vehicles, two (2) of which are fully armored vehicles (FAV). The chauffeur maintains service charts, and completes driving, fuel, and maintenance logs in accordance with directives. The job holder assists arriving and departing DAO personnel, as well as official and Distinguished Visitors, with customs, immigration, and other clearances required for entry and exit at Rwanda Airport terminals. Additionally, the chauffeur Provide routine translator and cultural immersion assistance for DAO Personnel.
