POSITION; Chief Operator
Rural Energy Promotion REPRO Ltd is a Rwandan private company with a focus on renewable energy and rural electrification. It has held an investment certificate since 2008. It operates and maintains 2 Micro Hydro Power Plants and one Ongoing Project. The first MHPP is located in Murunda, Rutsiro District and another one is MutoboMHPP, Musanze District. Repro ltd would like to hire a chief operator for one of its MHPP.

Key Responsibilities of the Chief Operator for MHPP
• Ensures the MHPP team has a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.
• Assist in the management of Annual leave and other types of leave of Mutobo HPP team by updating leave tracking table and share with the supervisor & HR office on a monthly basis.
• Ensure Environmental, Health, Safety and Safe Procedures plus safety guidelines at the power plant are in practice.
• Coordinate and lead plant operations to continuously improve plant safety, quality and productivity. Monitoring, reporting and recording on daily basis plant status provide weekly and monthly reports for the plant productions and operations.

Minimum Job Requirements
• Having A0 or A1 degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or alternative energy or any related field
• Having at least 1 year working experience in the related field.
• Demonstrating leadership abilities, Team working skills and Interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communications skills and fluency in written and spoken English and Kinyarwanda and Proficient knowledge of MS office; Word, Excel, Email, Internet etc.,
• Understand electrical, hydraulic, Electro Mechanical Equipment, concept and operational.
• Ability to think logically and solve problems effectively and efficiently.
