JOB DETAILS:
Cleaning services Manager will oversee cleaning duties and coordinate all activities to ensure that the clients’ instructions or standards are met. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Planning and developing strategies and systems for the effective management of cleaning services program that strives for continuous improvement and supports the Department’s goals.
• Establishment of cleaning standards and procedures for workers and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures.
• Develops and presents a budget that realistically reflects the needs of the department
• Coaching and developing employees(Cleaners)
• Scheduling and assigning specific duties/roles to cleaners and also ensuring that they are carried out expertly
• Inspection of Cleaning equipment on a regular basis so as to know when worn-out and also request for a replacement
• Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials so as to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse.
• Providing any form of required assistance to cleaners while they carry out their duties.
• Coordinate, direct and Monitor the cleaning staff in their duties of dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, etc.
• Effective instruction and Management of cleaning staff to ensure the delivery of good service by covering all sites on a daily basis.
• Regular visits to our clients to monitor standards of cleanliness, to establish and implement ways to improve and meet the clients ‘needs.
• Recruit (Regular interview and selection processes) and train new staff (cleaners) in accordance with the company’s processes.
• Monitor working time, Manage staff absence and manage staff attendance.
• Maintain supplies of cleaning materials and equipment, keeping check of what will be required and placing orders to maintain stock levels.
• Communicate with staff at all levels appropriately, including having team briefings and passing on information and news to cleaning staff.
• Prepare, manage staff contracts.
• Prepare and Process employees' payroll
• Process employees' RSSB and PAYE declarations
• All other work that may be assigned to him by the Director of Cleaning Services

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree holder in Management, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Proficient in Kinyarwanda and English
• Knowledge of French and having a driving license would be an added advantage
• Good Contract managerial Skills
• Excellent sales and marketing skills and customer orientation.
• Tendering, procurement and negotiation skills
• Basic Accounting skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)

Job Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the Business management unit.
