JOB DETAILS:

Job description

Supervise and coordinate the development and implementation of
action plans related to Basic Education and TVET standards and norms.
Supervise and coordinate the communication and data management in terms of approved standards and norms through SDMS.
Coordinate the setup of the standards, norms, criteria, and indicators for accrediting Basic Education and TVET infrastructures.
Coordinate the setup of the standards, norms, criteria, and indicators for school infrastructures
Coordinate the setup of the standards, norms, criteria, and indicators for accrediting institutions and/or centers for recognition of prior learning.
Keep updating the TVET standards, norms, criteria and/or indicators if necessary.
Liaise with different authorities to ensure compliance of school infrastructure standards and norms with Rwanda building codes, Rwanda environmental regulations, Urban planning, and regional and International standards.
Provide to her/his supervisor the technical advice regarding the school construction standards and norms.
Supervise unit activities and build capacities of the staff.
Carry out any other task assigned by her/his supervisors
