Call for Applications: Employability and Job Placement Program for Graduates

Are you a recent graduate struggling to find employment in your field of study? Under Project KPI 1, we are calling on young, motivated, and passionate Rwandans who are currently unemployed and would like to test the waters to join our program.

Bildungswerk der Baden-Württembergischen Wirtschaft e. V. (BIWE) is launching a program to support unemployed technical graduates with skills and opportunities to transition into the labor market. BIWE e. V. is a German NGO whose mission is to promote technical and vocational education for young people in Rwanda. 

Who Can Apply?

We are inviting applications from graduates who meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Diploma or Degree (or proof of completion) in one of the following fields:
  • Automotive Mechanics
  • Solar Energy Systems
  • Electro mechanics
  • Electrical Engineering / Electricity
  • Welding & Fabrication, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, ICT/Electronics, or other related technical fields
  • Any other relevant study programs from Polytechnic or University

• Motivated & ambitious
• Currently unemployed
• Below 35 years old
• Able to communicate in English and Kinyarwanda
• Willing and ready to work after completing the training

• Direct job placement support through linkages with employers, job fairs, and referrals
• Follow-up and mentorship for career growth
