Expression of Interest (EOI) of the Tender Technical Vocational Training Schools (Tvet) tender at SOS Children Villages

CLIENT: SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES RWANDA 

SOS Children’s Village is a child rights focused organization which started its operations in Rwanda in 1979 and has been working to meet the needs and protect the interests and rights of children without parental care or those at risk of losing it. To be more effective, SOS has enlarged its interventions and developed outreach programs aimed at preventing children from separating with their families through initiatives that promote stability of families. This program empowers families to strengthen their capacity to protect and care for their children and strengthen the safety nets for vulnerable children and their families within the community. 

SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda in Rwanda partnership with different donors are looking for TVET Institutions to provide vocational training to SOS supported young people with short-term courses in different trades with promotion of rights and inclusion of children and youth with disabilities through strengthening social and economic living conditions project focused on contributing to the realization of the rights of children and youth in different districts of Rwanda. 

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the realization of the rights of children and youth in Rwanda. As part of this initiative, the SOS Children’s villages in Rwanda intends to enroll young people in short-term vocational and technical training programs to equip them with employable skills and support their transition into decent work.

Participation is open on equal conditions to all schools or enterprises specialized in the field of TVET trainings and non-categorized workshops with authorization from MINADEC and other institutions. The training schools must be registered/ having license of operations issued by the Republic of Rwanda and should not be on the blacklist record of any recognized national or international Institutions/organizations.  

Well-presented proposals, properly organized, signed and stamped both technical proposal and financial proposals (in two separate pdf) must be submitted to SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES RWANDA through e-mail: sos.procurement@sos-rwanda.org with a copy to sosbnc@sos-rwanda.org not later than 29/08/2025, at 5:00 PM local time. Late bids shall be rejected.
