EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO SUPPLY AND TRANSPORT ALTERANTIVE FUELS FROM EAC REGION

CIMERWA, the partner of PPC (hereinafter called "Client") invites interested bidders to supply and transport of various alternative husks in Rwanda and from East African region to Bugarama factory in Rusizi district. The distance from Kigali to Bugarama is about 308km by Road from Kigali.

Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in two copies, one of which is the original, must be delivered to CIMERWA procurement office, Kigali (Kimihurura) in sealed envelopes not later than the 13th October 2023 at 10:00 am local time or Email PDF password-encrypted copies to Tenders@CIMERWA.RW. Emails without encrypted passwords will not be considered for

evaluation.

The tender is composed of two (2) lots and the bidder is allowed to bid for the both (2) lots or one (1) lot.

Lot 1: Supply of alternative fuels (with focus on agriculture biomass like Coffee husks, Rice husks, Palm kernels, groundnuts husks, sawdust, sugarcane husks etc)

Lot 2: Transportation of Biomass to Cimerwa Plant in Bugarama, Muganza region.

Late bids will be rejected. All bids will be addressed to CIMERWA Head supply chain and submitted at indicated dates and time above. CIMERWA shall bear no responsibility of loss or misplacement of any bid. Enquiries regarding this tender may be addressed to this email address (Tenders@CIMERWA.RW)

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on the same day at 10:30 am.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with CIMERWA internal procurement policy and feedback provided to prequalified bidders within 60 days from reception of proposals. The preselected bidders will then be engaged on further steps.
