Background
AOS LTD is a Service Provider that was established from the Joint Venture between the Government of Rwanda and Korea Telecom and is incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing advanced Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on a state-of-the-art Data Center, System development and Integrations, e-Government projects implementation and Consulting among others.
In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, AOS Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to support its business operation in the following positions;
1. Position
Facility Engineer. .

Roles and Responsibilities
The Facility Engineer is responsible for managing physical assets of datacenter facility to ensure total availability of the system.
• ž Daily monitoring of power facilities
• ž Check alerting of all hardware in a datacenter and escalate
• ž Ensuring all facility resources availability of 99,982%
• ž Manage datacenter collocation assets
• ž Reporting to line manager in a timely fashion
• ž Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
• ž Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by line manager

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:

• ž At the least, 3 years of working in a telecom-like industry,
• ž In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in electricity, electronic equipment and wide-range of physical assets in IT industry
• ž Having in-depth knowledge and experience in IT hardware troubleshoot practices
• ž And good working attitude and communication skills.
• ž Having a spirit of innovation and initiative
• ž Being able to work under high stress and stay focus
• ž Respectful to policies and procedures and honest in his dealings
