Global Markets & Treasury Relationship Manager:
Global Markets & Treasury (GMT) Relationship Manager is a managerial role reporting to the Country Head of Global Markets &Treasury, with main focus on proactively acquiring new clients, providing tailor made solutions for existing and newly acquired clients, facilitating bespoke transactions for both corporate and commercial clients as well as providing market information to clients.
Main responsibilities: Source and develop new corporate and commercial clients, manage and maintain existing clientele in a timely and satisfactory manner, analyze previous year's performance and provide input into the setting of portfolio revenue and growth targets for the current & coming year. Ensure achievement of growth and profitability
targets for both corporate and commercial segments, compile monthly report on corporate and commercial sales activities including number of visits and largest revenue earners for the bank in terms of income and volumes, contribute to Identification, conceptualization and building of products. Ensure that the Corporate Sales Desk is compliant to the bank Audit, Risk and Control requirements.
Educational qualifications & Work experience:
• Relevant business degree e.g. Economics, Finance, Mathematics.
• 3-5+ years' markets experience in a client-facing / sales role
• Extensive knowledge and experience of treasury banking operations and associated risks in developed and developing markets
Skills critical to the role:
• Knowledge of market risk aggregation and consolidation
• Comprehensive risk management skills encompassing the governance, risk and compliance landscape
• Strategic leadership, with well-developed Business insight
• Planning, organising and monitoring
• Participative leadership, Teamwork, Influencing and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the full MS Office suite with advanced Excel
