JOB DETAILS:
  Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as TAIKAI), is a Chinese economic entity of independent corporate capacity, which enjoys rights of international engineering contracting and foreign trade as well as import and export of electric products.
TAIKAI specializes in international engineering contracting of HV Power Transmission and Transformation projects as well as exporting of complete equipment.
The TAIKAI-China CAMC Engineering Co. Ltd Joint Venture has been awarded the contract of Regional Rusumo Falls Hydropower Project-Transmission Lines components-Lot 2 substations (Bugesera and Shango Substations).
As a part of a consortium, TAIKAI is looking for qualified, self-driven and committed individuals to join in the positions of HSE (Health Safety and Environment) Officers..

  Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor and control all HSE matters related to the project.
• Ensuring that the HSE,CESMM and other HSE related plans are fully and well implemented
• Responsible for the health, safety, environment, security & emergency throughout the project duration to achieve safe project completion.
• Conduct daily HSE site inspection and reporting
• Conduct Toolbox talk regularly
• Investigate and Report on Incidents and accidents within the site work area.

  Job Skills:
• Strong communication and public speaking skills including the ability to effectively transmit, explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience;
• Strong coordination, facilitation, and supervision of site activities
• Strong organization skills and analytical thinking
• Professional fluency in oral and written English and Kinyarwanda

  Job Qualifications:
• Having at least a bachelor degree in the environment or in any engineering field,
• Having proven experience as an HSE on at least 3 energy-related projects,
• Having experience on substations project will be an asset
