TITLE OF THE TENDER: HIRING A COMPANY FOR CLEANING SERVICES AT WASAC KIGALI OFFICES (HEAD OFFICE, BRANCHES, WATER TREATEMENT PLANTS AND STORES)

1. The "WATER AND SANITATION CORPORATION" (WASAC Ltd) (hereinafter called "Client" funded by WASAC Ltd Utility Budget towards the cost of Hiring Cleaning Services Company for Kigali WASAC Headquarter Offices, Branches, Water Treatment Plants and Stores, the client intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Bidding document is issued.

2. The WASAC Ltd invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the tender for cleaning services under a framework contract as indicated in detail in the statement of requirements. The tender consists of one Lot.1.

3. The tender documents can be obtained from the Procurement Management Services office at WASAC Head Office, centenary house, P.O.BOX.2331 Kigali, Rwanda. Tel. +250788181427; E-mail: procurement@wasac.rw, upon presentation of proof payment of a non-refundable fee of ten Thousand Rwandan Francs (10.000 FRW) on the Account No 100009564367 opened at the Bank of Kigali, Avenue de la Paix. P.O. Box 175 Kigali, Rwanda, Swift code: BKIGRWRW, e-mail: bk@bk.rw.

4. Tender documents can be obtained on any working day from 22/08/2023.

5. All bids "shall" be accompanied by an original Bid Security from Bank or Insurance Company of One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Rwandan Francs (1,700,000 FRW).

7. The site visit for more details and clarifications for this tender is mandatory and it is fixed on 31/08/2023 from 10:00 AM at WASAC Headquarters located in Centenary House.

8. Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in 3 copies, one of which is the original must reach the address mentioned above not later than 11/09/2023 at 10:00 am Local time. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened. The bids will remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline of their submission.

9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 11/09/2023 at 10:30 am Local time.

10. The outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender name and title.

11. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with WASAC procurement procedures manual.
