2022 is the year of unlocking the potential for justice innovation:join us now in our mission to improve access to justice for millions of people.
The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HTL) is pleased to announce that our Innovating Justice Challenge 2022 is now open for applications We are looking for justice innovators from across Africa and the Middle East specifically in Ethiopia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda and Tunisia. We look for the best innovations with a focus on preventing or resolving a justice problem for many people, including small and medium sized businesses. We scout the next generation of promising justice innovators to improve access to justice for millions of people

This year, Hill's Justice Accelerator is looking for promising new justice innovations to prevent or resolve the most pressing justice needs around Crime, Land, Employment, Family, Tenancy and Neighbour issues. In 2021, we supported startups like Upesy in Kenya, Chaya Legal in South Africa and Adel in the MENA region.
Justice innovators can apply for the Innovating Justice Challenge before March 31st when the call comes to a close
The best innovators will then be invited to join the Hill Justice Accelerator programme. If the innovator shows significant growth, they can receive: Up to €10,000 non-equity funding Full training program delivered by industry specialists: business growth, marketing, impact measurement, and much more Coaching sessions on topics of your choice Mentorship sessions Access to HIL's global network of justice leaders, legal tech organisations, and top-level researchers International exposure and potential investment opportunities Chance to win up to €20,000 at the pitch event of the Demo Day.
