JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a Program intern who will support our Program Manager in implementing our current in-house Entrepreneurship Programmes and support startups and entrepreneurs by organizing workshops, and program events for startups and entrepreneurs at the Westerwelle Startup Haus Kigali.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced office environment, especially in a programmatic and administrative capacity. The intern must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and have strong data management and quantitative reasoning skills. Candidates with additional research experience and strong written communication skills are also desirable
As Program Intern you will work closely together with your other colleagues in Kigali and will report directly to the Program Manager.

Responsibility
• Deliver input for marketing on programme activities and participants (pictures, videos, info on success stories) to Community Associate.
• Coordinate with Community Associate to promote the call for applications and ensure visibility of the program activities. (blogs, press releases, and other materials).
• Support the Program Manager in coordinating the programme events & workshops.
• Conduct research on opportunities available for startups and entrepreneurs.
• Design, organize and develop peer learning and other program events.
• Manage the workflow and tasks for the programmes.
• Plan the execution of the programme’s events aligned with our goals.
• Coordinate the programme efforts and activities with all stakeholders involved
• Network with entrepreneurs, community, eco-system players, and investors.
• Support the community associate in clerical duties.
• Ensure smooth implementation of the programmes daily

Requirements
• BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, communication or related study fields.
• Staring Knowledge of Project Management.
• Experience in working with acceleration/incubation programmes or other relevant work with startups is a plus.
• creative, agile and handy with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.
• Experience in building online communities, social media, Graphics, and/or PR.
• Fluency in English required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team, based on shared trust and respect.
• Ability to multitask and efficiently manage time-sensitive situations
• Good Interpersonal skills.
• An outgoing, growth mindset and positive attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
