Notice for the Sale of Toyota Hilux Tender at Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations

NOTICE OF SALE

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites interested bidders to submit offers for the purchase of a used vehicle with the following specifications:

1. Make: Toyota
2. Type: Hilux D/C
3. Chassis No.: AHTFR22G006088151
4. Engine No.: 2KDA499084
5. Engine Type: Diesel
6. Mileage: 125.261 Km
7. License Plate: UN 676 RA
8. Year of Operation: 2014

The vehicle can be inspected at the FAO parking lot, Thursday, 16th October 2025, to Thursday, 23rd October 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The Opening will be on 23rd October 2025. 

Submission of Offers:

• Offers must be typed, signed, and clearly marked “Vehicle Purchase”.
• Each offer must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit slip of Fifty Thousand Rwandan Francs (50,000 RWF), payable to:
  - Account No.: 6775006468-RWF
  - Bank: Ecobank Rwanda
  - Account Name: Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
• Offers must be submitted in a sealed envelope and delivered to FAO offices, Boulevard de Umuganda, Glory House, no later than 23rd October 2025 at 12:00 noon.

Important Notes:

• Handwritten offers will not be accepted.
• Offers with discrepancies between the amount in words and in figures will be rejected.
• The bid opening will take place on the same day and at the same time in the FAO meeting room, in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.
• The FAO reserves the right to reject any offer deemed lower than the vehicle’s value.
• The vehicle will only be released to the successful bidder upon presentation of customs clearance documents and a license plate.
