Visions Africa is looking for an experienced and qualified person to fill the position of Odoo ERP specialist to carry out the following tasks and responsibilities

Job Purpose:
Odoo ERP Specialist is responsible for managing and administering the organizations Odoo ERP Systems, developing and customizing, and testing new System modules to validate that they are working as expected for our clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Manages projects to set up and maintain Odoo based ERP systems
• Develop customizations and code the requirements of business processes to cater for the clients needs
• Testing the new system modules to validate that they are working as expected
• Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks the products' performance
• Reporting all improvements made, as well as any setbacks
• Updating and maintaining system documents
• Liaising with users to track additional requirements and features
• Train users on the new system modules and provide required support
• Ensuring that all requirements and timeline constraints are met
• Submit suggestions and perceptions that will develop the work performed the concerned employees of any matters that might affect the integrity, impartiality, and reputation of the organization.
• Follow the organizational systems, procedures, principles, and values
• Carry out any other relevant task as requested by the manager

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or any other relevant field
• At least 10 years of experience in Odoo ERP System Administration & Technical development
• Prior experience as ERP system administrator
• Prior experience as a system analyst and system tester or in a similar position
• Solid Working knowledge of Odoo ERP System

Skills:
• Excellent level in both written and spoken English (with excellent knowledge of information technology terminology)
• Proficient coding skills in Python & Javascript
• Proficient with Microsoft software applications and familiarity with ERP Systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• have strong communication skills, with an ability to explain solutions clearly
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Detail-oriented
