The Liquidator of Rwanda Tea Packers Ltd (In Liquidation) informs the general public and interested bidders of a contemplated sale of assets and properties of Rwanda Tea Packers Ltd (In Liquidation) forming part of the liquidation estate, under the terms and conditions set out below:

1. Description of assets to be auctioned
Office Equipment, Furniture & Fixtures Flavoring Granules

2. Terms and conditions of the sale
The sale will be on "as is, where is, and without recourse" basis.
(ii) For assets in lots, the sale shall be for the whole lot.
(iii) The price is exclusive of applicable VAT, which shall be added by the winning bidder.
Interested auctioneers shall submit their bids in well-sealed envelopes (one original and one copy) specifying the assets and proposed price to the Liquidator via the Liquidator's address mentioned above.
(V) The deadline for submission of bids is February 24, 2022
(vi) Interested auctioneers may inspect the assets at the Company's premises indicated above on business days until February 24th, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
(vii) Opening of the bids shall take place at the Company's premises on Friday, February 25th, 2022
at 10:00 am
(viii) The bidder who submits the highest bid amount (not below fair price) shall be declared as the successful bidder.
(ix)The Liquidator reserves the right to accept the highest offer and has the absolute right to accept or reject any or all offer(s) any time prior to contract award, to waive any formalities or defects found in any offer(s), to adjourn/postponel cancel the auction or withdraw any property or portion thereof from the auction proceedings at any stage without assigning any reason therefor and without incurring any liability to the affected auctioneer(s).
(x) The sale shall be subject to conditions prescribed under the Insolvency Act (Law No 075/2021 of
06/12/2021 relating to insolvency).
