Background
AMEGERWA Ltd (Atelier de mecanique Generale) is a limited liability commercial company registered under number 100001766, It started its activities in 1976.
The Head office of AMEGERWA Ltd is located at Gikondo, Kicukiro District City of Kigali.

AMEGERWA, LTD currently has 2 production unities:
A Workshop for the manufacturing office furniture and family Equipment in wood and metal and MDF based in Gikondo- District of Kicukiro city of Kigali;
A brickyard plant based in Masaka District of Kicukiro city of Kigali.
AMEGERWA Ltd is seeking to recruit qualified people for different positions as follow:


Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications required
1. Production Manager in Workshop
1. Professional organization of the workshop, well installed with according to different domain: woods, metals, painting assembling, welding, finishing areas,
2. Ensuring good health and security of equipment minimize related loses
3. Come up with solutions in term of design, quotations, understanding different technical specifications and their implementation,
4. To become a good project manager in organizing staff in production in chain, conducting projects in timely manner,
5. Strong management of raw material such as woods, metals, MDF and others related resources.
6. Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction, assembling
7. Experience of 3 years minimum in the field of furniture production, general carpentry and construction;
8. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.);
9. Ability to read and understand technical specification’s documents and drawings;
10. Must follow safety guidelines at all times;
11. Good knowledge and communication of Kinyarwanda and English, French added can be an advantage;
12. Good understanding of basic math;
13. A1 in carpentry from IPRC or similar academic background, Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required;
14. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed;
15. Open-mind and flexible in reception instruction from others;
16. Ability to lead teams and project management under chain.
