Rwanda Freight Forwarders association (RWAFFA) is a non-profit organization established in 1998 to represent all the clearing and forwarding firms in Rwanda.

JOB DETAILS:
Rwanda Freight Forwarders association (RWAFFA) is a non-profit organization established in 1998 to represent all the clearing and forwarding firms in Rwanda. Today the Association has a membership base of 193 companies. Its mission is to facilitate the international import-export trade by providing a body of professional freight forwarding agencies within Rwanda.

Currently, RWAFFA has a project of constructing a building for its headquarters and other commercial services. In order to implement the project, RWAFFA is looking for a qualified and competent Rwandan for the position of the Project Manager.

Job responsibilities:-

• Ensure the overall monitoring of the project, preparing and review the required designs including architectural designs.
  
• Prepare bidding documents and bill of quantities.
  
• Consult and Collaborate with Project task force in order to avoid errors.
  
• Oversee and assist the construction firm to ensure that required standards.
  
• Ensuring that the contractor is carrying out the work according to the contractual obligations, Architect’s design drawings and instructions.
  
• Prepare and issue regular Project Reports
  
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the employer.
  
• To be Rwandan
  
• A university degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management or real estate related field.
  
• At least five years’ experience in construction supervision.
  
• Computer skills especially, civil structure design software including Archi CAD and Auto CAD.
  
• Should be registered in a recognized institution/association of engineers.
  
• Fluent in English or French
