1. The Ministry of Education (hereinafter called “Client”) funded by World Bank towards the cost of Rwanda Quality Basic Education for Human Capital Development Project intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Bidding Document is issued.
2. The Ministry of Education invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the provision of office supplies for MINEDUC-SPIU on a framework contract as indicated in detail in the statement of requirements. The tender is comprised of one indivisible lot.
3. Tender Documents in English may be obtained from the online e-procurement system on umucyo.gov.rw.
4. All bids shall be accompanied by a “Declaration of commitment”.
5. Enquiries regarding this tender may be addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, P.O. Box 622 Kigali-Rwanda through the e-procurement system on umucyo.gov.rw
6. All bids shall be submitted online using the e-procurement system not later than 29th September 2020 at 09:00 am local time.
7. Bids will be opened on the same day on 29th September 2020 at 09:30 am local time.
8. Bids shall be valid for 120 days commencing from the date of opening.
9. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Law N° 62/2018 of 25/08/2018 on Public Procurement.
