At the heart of Spark’s model, the Facilitated Collective Action Process (FCAP), are ‘town-hall’ style weekly meetings, in which women, men, young, old, plan together for their community’s future. Each village elects a leadership committee, establishes a village savings account, and launches a project of their choice. Members receive training on financial management, transparency, leadership, village planning, and advocacy. Each village then receives US$8,000 in seed funds and additional management support to turn their project ideas into reality.

Spark trains partner organizations and works with governments to scale the FCAP as the model of choice to advance social and economic development, improve lives, and secure lasting change. Spark is now active in 500+ villages in 6 countries,  improving the lives of over 230,000 people.

Spark Microgrants is pleased to invite qualified and experienced translation service providers to submit their proposals for the translation of Goal setting Materials from English to Kinyarwanda.

Project Details:

1. Language Pair: English to Kinyarwanda
2. Scope: Translation of Goal Setting Material
3. Page Count: Approximately 80 pages
4. Format: Microsoft Word
5. Deadline for submission: 30th December 2023

Requirements:

1. Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
2. Proven Experience in Translation service
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translation
4. Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
5. Knowledge of the subject matter, specifically goal setting will be an advantage

Instruction for Proposal Submission:

Interested service Providers are requested to submit the following documents:

1. Cover letter expressing interest in the project
2. Company Registered certificate(RDB Certificate) Apply to the Company
3. Experience: Company should have a minimum of 3 years of experience
4. Recommendation from at least 3 reputable companies/Organizations
5. Proposed timeline for completion of the project
6. Cost estimated, Including a breakdown of fees per page
7. At least 1 sample of previous translation work

Evaluation and Selection:

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. Relevant experience and qualifications
2. Quality and accuracy of previous translation work
3. Proposed timeline and cost-effectiveness

The selected translation service provider will be notified via email and will be required to sign a contract with Spark Microgrants before commencing the project.
