Request for Proposals (RFP) for Gas Tank Installation

Mantis Akagera Game Lodge

Introduction:

Mantis Akagera Game Lodge invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the installation of a gas tank at our facility located in the Akagera National Park, Rwanda. The purpose of this project is to ensure a reliable and safe supply of gas to meet the operational needs of the lodge.

Project Overview:

The scope of work includes but is not limited to:

• Site preparation and assessment.
• Supply and installation of an appropriate gas storage tank.
• Integration with existing gas distribution systems.
• Compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Testing and commissioning of the installed system.
• Training of relevant staff on the operation and maintenance of the gas tank system.

Submission Requirements:

Interested contractors must include the following in their proposals:

1. Company Profile:
   • Company history and experience in similar projects.
   • Qualifications and certifications.
   • Key personnel and their relevant experience.
2. Technical Proposal:
   • Detailed description of the proposed solution.
   • Methodology and work plan.
   • Timeline for the project completion.
   • Valid VAT certificate for private companies.
   • Company registration certificate provided by Rwanda Development Board.
   • Signed and stamped work completion certificate(s) of similar works provided by previous clients.
   • RRA&RSSB Clearance certificates not exceeding 3 months.
3. Financial Proposal:
   • Detailed cost breakdown (materials, labor, equipment, etc.).
   • Payment terms and conditions.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   • Safety protocols and measures to be implemented.
   • Compliance with local and international standards.

References:

• Contact details of at least three previous clients for whom similar work has been performed.

Evaluation Criteria:

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Technical capability and experience.
• Cost-effectiveness and financial stability.
• Project timeline and deliverability.
• Compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• References and past performance.

• The selected contractor must comply with all relevant local laws and regulations.
