JOB DETAILS:
Full-time Reservations Consultant Required
African Unique Safaris and Tours is a leading Destination Management Company and Tour Operator based in Rwanda.
We are looking for a driven, motivated reservations consultant with exceptional communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
• Analyse and respond to tour enquiries from agents immediately
• Provide inspiring and accurate digital itineraries and quote solutions that convert enquiries into sales.
• Book the activities and permits of converted tours.
• Keep accurate records and file systems.
• Prepare and hold driver guide briefing sessions.
• Maintain excellent support and relationships with agents.
• Keep information and rate sheets up to date.
• Participate in sales growth ideas.

Essential Skills & Attributes
• Confident, open and effective communication skills are a must (Quiet or passive communicators need not apply).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, TEAMS, Outlook, Excel as well as strong internet research skills.
• Both advanced written and spoken English.
• Ability to write accurate and well-informed itineraries that make sense to a new visitor.
• Solutions minded.
• Productive.
• Team player.
• Lifelong Learner.
• Be able to adapt to different foreign cultures' communication styles, needs and expectations.

Highly Regarded
• Experience in the Tourism Industry in a Reservations role.
• French or other international languages.
