Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate implementation of LODA’s resource mobilization strategy
  • Create annual and periodic plans for partnership and resource mobilization
  • Develop donor profiles, solicitation strategies, and maintain donor relations
  • Recommend innovative funding opportunities
  • Map potential funders for LODA’s activities and services ("LODA portfolio")
  • Maintain and update database of possible partners and funders (CG, DPs, CSOs, etc.)
  • Analyze potential for additional funding from government budget sources
  • Engage potential donors and CSOs using LODA’s service portfolio
  • Draft business cases and proposals for development partners
  • Initiate tools and procedures to monitor and evaluate resource mobilization
  • Plan and implement fundraising events
  • Monitor implementation of resource mobilization strategy and available grants
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and briefs for resource mobilization
  • Draft, revise, and monitor donor agreements
  • Liaise with donors and stakeholders in consultation with DG
  • Organize annual events with DPs and technical divisions to promote LODA’s portfolio
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Directors of LODA

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with 3 years relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Finance with 1 year relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Economics with 1 year relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy with 3 years relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Public Policy with 1 year relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Management with 1 year relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies with 3 years relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Development Studies with 1 year relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration with 1 year relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with 3 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with 3 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Finance with 3 years relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in International Finance with 1 year relevant experience
