Job Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to assist management to ensure unqualified opinion on the respective financial audits. He or She is responsible for assisting in safeguarding the assets of the institute through account analysis and regular monitoring of financial transactions.
the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the financial transactions in assigned general ledger accounts are recorded in the general ledger in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Responsible for implementation and maintenance of financial software especial QUICKBOOK and revenue recognition process for the organization.
This position typically reports to Manager.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring proper records and documentation of all financial transactions
• Maintaining and Monitoring monthly account analysis and reconciliations for assigned general ledger account and resolving reconciling items and issues noted in a timely manner
• Preparing, reviewing and uploading monthly journal entries for month-end close.
• Preparing financial statements
• Ensuring regulatory compliance
• Processing payroll
• Responsible for creating financial models and forecasts
• Preparing and Filling taxes
• Attend and record all bank transactions and ensure monthly bank statement and account overviews

Job specifications/Profile
Relevant Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration
• Having a professional qualification e.g. CIA, ACCA or CPA is an added advantage

Required Experience
At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting organization

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
