The New Forests Company is looking for a self-driven hardworking person who will take on the roles and responsibilities of Senior Harvesting Supervisor.
Location: Nyungwe Bufferzone
Reporting to: Forestry Manager
Basic Position Function
Supervision of all harvesting activities to deliver an output of timber according to NFC’s timber needs. The incumbent is responsible to ensure the team of harvesting workers, contractors or own wages staff delivers the right quantity and quality of volumes and product at the right time, according to the NFC’s occupational health and safety standards and in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner..

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position preferably within the Agriculture sector with a productivity drive.
• Essential: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agriculture Mechanization with mechanical knowledge.
