We are looking for a Systems Manager who will act as the technical lead on development, configuration of applications and maintenance of RCS data management. This includes the maintenance of existing systems as well as the development and implementation of new features addressing developing project needs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build innovative data management infrastructures to improve data analysis by Better Mining and its clients
• Assure existing systems run stable and cost efficient
• Drive innovation in our data management approaches to improve automation, verification, stability, accessibility, and security of supply chain due diligence data
• Ensure the security of RCS Global IT systems with special regard to protecting against data loss and security breaches
• Identifying vulnerabilities in our current network.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure our computing network.
• Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.
• Work with / manage the RCS Global Systems team
• Provide systems-relevant training to local and international staff
• Provide input to company strategy related to systems
• Contribute to client and external stakeholder engagement around systems topics

YOUR PROFILE
• Bachelor degree computer science, software engineering, or another related field
• Software engineering (4y)
• API development (4y)
• Database Management (MySQL/ PostgreSQL) (4y)
• Proficiency with AWS; Linux Server Configurations, Heroku
• Experience working with GitHub
• Proficiency with:
o Bootstrap
o Javascript
o Elixir
o NodeJS
o Alpine.JS
o PHP

• Fluent English (Ideal if also has conversational French)
• Comfortable working in a remote environment
