Background information about the job or company:

The Technology Training and Adoption Officer will lead initiatives to improve the organization’s use of technology by delivering effective training programs, promoting digital adoption, and supporting change management. The role ensures that staff members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively use technology solutions in their daily operations.

Responsibilities or duties:

  • Develop and implement technology training programs for staff at all levels.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps related to technology use.
  • Create and maintain knowledge bases, business process documentation, and other materials to support ongoing technology adoption.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and digital innovation.
  • Identify and address technology adoption challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Support team to ensure seamless troubleshooting and user support during training transitions.
  • Gather feedback from users to continuously improve training and adoption methodologies.
  • Analyze and report on technology adoption metrics and provide insights for improvement.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications or requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, or Education) or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in technology training, change management, or technology adoption roles.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with developing and delivering training materials and programs.
  • Familiarity with various enterprise technologies, systems, and processes (e.g., ERP, CRM, document management, collaboration tools).

Experience needed:

Preferably 2 years of experience in technology training, change management, or technology adoption roles.

  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
  • High adaptability and enthusiasm for technology-driven change.
