Background

By harnessing play, one of the most powerful and fundamental forces in a child’s life, we helped 2.3 million children last year to stay in school and out of work, to prevent life-threatening diseases like HIV and malaria and to stay safe from exploitation and abuse. Established in 2000, Right to Play reaches children through experiential programming in 15 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and North America. These programs are supported by our headquarters in Toronto, Canada; London, UK and eight national offices across Europe (Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, UK) and North America (Canada, US).
Right To Play hereby invites all eligible national bidders who are qualified and reputable Restaurant, to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to provide restaurant services to Right To Play program locations for year 2022-2023.
The successful bidder shall be contracted for a period of one year. The contract will be awarded to bidder who will meet all minimum requirements and clearly demonstrates a high degree of experience with ability and competency.

Description of the Tender
Services Description Price
Lunch Complete buffet with soft drink
Coffee break Milk tea, black tea, fresh milk, coffee, fresh juice and 3 3 snacks per person (meat samosa, cake, capati, meatball,1 egg, etc..)
Mineral water A 500 ml bottled water of Inyange or Nil
Snacks Meat samosa, cake, capati, meatball
Inyange Juice 500 ml botted juice.

Submission of bidding documents
The bidders must submit the following documents:
1. Letter of interest addressed to the Country Director of Right To Play.
2. Company profile (include e-mail, phone number, Physical address)
3. Company registration certificate
4. Valid tax registration certificate from Rwanda Revenue Authority
5. Valid clearance from RSSB
6. Valid tax clearance and proof of EBM use from Rwanda Revenue Authority.
7. Having at least 2 years of experience in the field
8. At least 3 certificates of good completion from the former or current clients for past 2 years.

Key notes to Consider
• Items will be delivered to the training different locations as follow: (See attachments).
• During the trainings for few participants (less than 55 person): The refreshment will be delivered in Rubavu/ Ruhango/ Kayonza RTP offices
• During the training of teachers and parents, for many participants: The refreshment will be delivered to the sites as follow: (See attachments).


Submission Procedure
Expression of interest (well-presented bids) must be submitted to Right To Play Rwanda via rwandaprocurement@righttoplay.com. The subject of your e-mail must entitled “Expression Of Interest For The Provision Of Restaurant Services To Right To Play Rwanda For 2022/2023”
The deadline for bidders to start submitting their bids is from 10th August to 31st August 2022 not later than 17:00 PM local hour. Bids that will be submitted after the deadline date and time will not be considered.
The opening of the bids will take place in a separate session. Communication of the opening result will be shared through e-mail to the bidders.
Right to Play reserves the right to reject any bid deemed inappropriate
