TENDER NOTICE No 01/S/PSVPG/2024 FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS (BILL OF QUANTITIES) AND SUPERVISION WORKS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PRE-PRIMARY AND PRIMARY CLASSROOMS

The Catholic Parish of St Vincent Pallotti Gikondo intends to implement the project of the construction of pre-primary and primary classrooms and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultancy to produce the architectural design and detailed specifications (bill of quantities), as well as for supervision services.

It is in this context that the Gikondo Catholic Parish Management would like to recruit qualified firms to prepare THE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS (BILL OF QUANTITIES) AND SUPERVISION WORKS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PRE-PRIMARY AND PRIMARY CLASSROOMS.

Interested consultancy firms may obtain additional information from the Central Secretariat of the Gikondo Catholic Parish during working hours.

A complete set of bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested Bidders at the address above from 02/05/2024 to 09/05/2024 upon presentation of the bank slip as a proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty thousand Rwandan Francs (20,000 Rwf). The sum is to be deposited on the Account 100004050497 opened in the name of Archidiocese de Kigali/Paroisse Gikondo in Bank of Kigali.

Well printed proposals written in French or English languages, properly sealed and presented in two copies one of which is the original and one being a copy must reach Gikondo Catholic Parish not later than 18/05/2024 at 10:00 am accompanied by a bid guarantee of Two hundred thousand (200,000) Rwandan Francs.

The site visit will be 11/05/2024 at 10.00 am, from Gikondo Catholic Parish offices.

Late proposals will be rejected and proposals sent electronically will not be accepted.

Proposals will be opened in the presence of consultancy firms or their representatives who choose to attend on the same day at 10:30 am, hours prompt, local time.

A company will be selected under the procedures described in the Tender Document.

The copies will be presented in an envelope labelled ‘’internal enveloppe’’, mentioning the bidder’s names and address. The latter will be in turn, put in another envelope labelled ”external envelope’’ mentioning the reference number of the bids as well as the following: ‘’ To be only opened in public session’’.

To be eligible for this tender, the bidder will have to present the following items (as annexes to the bid):

1. Business registration certificate (issued by RDB)
2. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (RRA)
3. VAT registration Certificate (RRA)
4. Valid RSSB clearance certificate
5. EBM invoicing system
6. Bank details (account and name)
7. Financial offer

N.B: The technical and financial proposals must be in different envelopes.

The bids will remain valid for 180 days starting from the deadline of their submission.
