Title: Tender To Provide Comprehensive Motor Insurance To Water For People’s Vehicles
Water For People background Water For People is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) that works with people and partners to develop innovative and long-lasting solutions to the water, sanitation, and hygiene problems in developing countries. The organization strives to continually improve, experiment with promising new ideas, and leverage resources to multiply its impact.
Water For People is currently operating in 9 countries including Rwanda where Water For People is supporting WASH in the Districts of Rulindo, Kicukiro, Gicumbi, and Karongi.
Water For People has secured funds from USAID to finance the Isoko y’Ubuzima WASH project that will operate in 10 Districts of Rwanda including Rwamagana, Kayonza, Ngoma, Kirehe, Nyagatare, Ruhango, Nyanza, Nyamagabe, Nyabihu and Ngororero from 2021 to 2026. The purpose of this project is to increase and sustain equitable access to safe drinking water and sanitation services to improve health and contribute to a strong economy.

Should your offer be successful, Water For People may issue a Purchase Order with an insurance cover period. Any order arising from this Request for Quotations will be subject to Water For People's Conditions of Purchase. Please provide your quotation/Proforma Invoice at Water for People Office and remember to include VAT in your price, indicated delivery date, and TIN.

Duration of Cover
The successful Company will enter into a contract with Water For People in Rwanda for a period of one (1) year renewable based on performance, we would wish all vehicles listed above, to have the same starting date of vehicles fleet insurance, with flexibility that any other new vehicle will also be added on the fleet.

Bid documents to be submitted

Each bidder shall submit a quotation for all insurance categories available and with the following administrative documents:
1. Company profile
2. Full company address indicating Country, Province, District, Sector, Cell, Village, Street number, E-mail, Post Office Box, and Bank account details
3. A copy of Trade License/Certificate of company registration in the field of insurance services
4. Valid Rwanda Social Security Board certificate (RSSB)
5. VAT registration and Valid tax clearance by Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA)
6. Last 2 years audited financial statements and related solvency margin.

Experience
1. Proof of experience and evidence of financial capabilities.
2. List of top 3 clients in the last 3 years (recommendation letters), including international organizations is required.

C. Communication and service delivery
1. Ability to provide reliable motor insurance services
2. Ability to provide 24-hours service
3. Real-time administrative support systems – Ability to assign a full-time account manager
4. Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
5. Ability to send reminders at least two weeks before the expiration date of insurance
