RE: Tender for Supplying Field and Related Equipment

Greater Virunga Transboundary Collaboration (GVTC) is an interstate institution formed by the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda with a mandate of sustainable conservation of the wildlife resources and tourism promotion in the Greater Virunga Landscape (GVL). GVTC is a collaborative framework of programs, plans, and activities to conserve a network of Protected Areas disseminated along the shared borders of the three countries, and together forming a unique ecological unit known as the "Greater Virunga Landscape (GVL)." This landscape comprises a total of seven national parks and one wildlife reserve, namely: Volcanoes NP in Rwanda; Virunga NP & Sarambwe Wildlife Reserve in DRC and Mgahinga Gorilla NP, Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi NP, Rwenzori Mountain NP, and Semliki NP in Uganda.

GVTC would like to invite interested and qualified companies/individuals to submit their bid documents for the field and related equipment in accordance with the specifications listed below.

The quotation should be duly signed, dated, and stamped and accompanied by the following documents:

1. Price schedule/quotations for all needed equipment specifying the brand and detailing prices with and without VAT.
2. A copy of the Certificate of Company Registration.
3. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate from Rwanda Revenue Authority.

Note:

• GVTC will respond to any questions received from all interested vendors before the due date for the quotes.
• GVTC reserves the right to reject any and all offers, in whole or in part, for any reason whatsoever, and pursue purchasing in a manner that is in the best of its interest.
• Late quotes will not be accepted or considered.
• The requested equipment will be delivered in Kigali.
• Only shortlisted companies/individuals will be contacted for discussion of their quotations, which will lead to selecting the best offer.
