TENDER NOTICE

The Construction of low-cost community model ECD Centers in Gatsibo and Kayonza Districts.

AEE Rwanda want to ensure that all children under six in Gatsibo and Kayonza districts benefit from improved early childhood development. This will be accomplished by fostering a supportive, inclusive, and well-coordinated environment. Increased recognition and involvement from parents, caregivers, local government officials, community groups, and civil society organizations will enhance children’s access to nutrition and early childhood education.

In collaboration with Gatsibo and Kayonza Districts, the project plans to construct eight model Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers across four sectors in Kayonza and Gatsibo districts. The sectors are: Murambi and Rugarama in Gatsibo District, and Mwiri and Murundi in Kayonza District. AEE Rwanda invites all qualified companies interested in this assignment to submit their bids for this tender.

NOTE: Site visits are scheduled for September 23, 2024, in Kayonza District at 9:00 AM, and September 24, 2024, in Gatsibo District at 9:am respectively. For additional information regarding these visits, please contact AEE Rwanda staff at: +250 788633583.

The detailed drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) will be provided as an Annex to the tender document. To obtain the tender document, please make a non-refundable payment of 10,000 RWF to Bank of Kigali, account number 100000653181 RWF / AEE-Rwanda. Send the proof of payment to the email address provided, and AEE will email you the tender document—no need to visit the office.

Submit well-bound and sealed bids in both hard and soft copies to AEE-Rwanda Head Office in Gishushu (opposite Gasabo District Office) and via email to aeeprocurement@aeerwanda.ngo by October 2^nd, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time. Late submissions will not be considered. The public bid opening will take place the same day at AEE-Rwanda Head Office at 10:15 AM.

Bids must include: a cover letter, financial proposal, administrative documents (RDB certificate, VAT certificate, Tax Clearance), proof of EBM usage, performance letters or certificates of successful completion of similar projects from three recognized companies or organizations, and proof of payment of 10,000 RWF.
