TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDER

1. About Sight and Life

Sight and Life is a charitable foundation based in Switzerland. 74% of its staff live and work in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) in Africa and Asia, with the aim to fill the nutrition gap of vulnerable populations. Sight and Life Rwanda is an affiliate of Sight and Life Global, registered at the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) with headquarters in Kigali Heights Complex, Gasabo District, Kigali City. 2. Transportation services summary

For this tender notice, Sight and Life Rwanda is looking for a suitable service provider to assist its office with the transportation related services. The purpose of this tender is to solicit transport quotations from eligible transport organizations legally registered and authorized to operate in Rwanda.

3. Geographical coverage

No limited area within the country, including but not limited to the City of Kigali, the districts where Sight and Life Rwanda implements its activities. The departure might be from the organizational head office (Kigali) or from any of the districts. SAL Rwanda has an obligation to inform the service provider at least 24 hours before the travel date.

4. Criteria of eligibility for bidders

•  Being a legally registered company, agency or society and authorized to operate in Rwanda.
•  Having the proven experience in transportation services both rural and urban areas
•  The service provider must have capacity to provide at least 3 vehicles at once if required.

5. Requirements

Bidders for the mentioned tender are supposed to submit bids with the required certifications and should be valid at the date of submission:

•  Letter of interest addressed to the Country Director of Sight and Life Rwanda
•  Registration certificate
•  RURA certificate
•  Valid Tax clearance
•  Proof of able to provide electronically generated bill (EBM)
•  Minimum of 3 years of experience in provision of similar services
•  Provision of at least 3 certificates for similar services

6. Evaluation

Applications will be judged against the following criteria:

•  Technical proposal: 60%
•  Financial proposal: 40%

Category 1, 2, 3
