RABSCO LTD is a private company established for ensuring that Agribusiness sector in Rwanda is effectively and efficiently supported by provisioning good quality of agro-veterinary inputs, equipments as well as materials at affordable prices. RABSCO LTD also supports the livestock industry by providing veterinary consultancy services to the level of advisories to the farmers and technical assistance as well as livestock disease treatment and prevention.
Specifically, RABSCO LTD is trusted to perform the following:

• Importing and distribution of veterinary drugs
• Importing and distribution of animal feeds
• Importing agriculture inputs, equipments and materials
• Bidding on tenders in the domain of agriculture and livestock industry

Key products and services of RABSCO LTD are above mentioned but RABSCO LTD’s key role is to import and distribute to its clients veterinary drugs, materials and equipments along with necessary agriculture inputs to facilitate the Agribusiness development in Rwanda, EAC as well as in the Region.

RABSCO LTD is partnering with world Agro-Vet industries to manufacture and distribute a wide range of animal drugs that can improve livestock production in the region while being affordable to our customers.
RABSCO LTD seeks to hire a highly qualified, dedicated and experienced national for the position of Veterinary Doctor. The position will be based in Kigali, Rwanda with frequent travels in the Districts and reporting to the Managing Director.

Purpose of the position:
The job holder will be responsible for operations in the veterinary pharmacy.
The major responsibilities include:

• Advise the Managing Director on importation of agro-vet inputs and veterinary drugs
• Perform sales of veterinary drugs and ensure delivery to customers
• Represent the Managing Director to appointed meetings, workshops, trainings and seminars
• Review and conduct detail investigation on animal resource development projects in Rwanda in collaboration with RCVD and MINAGRI;
• Ensure good functionality of veterinary drugs and services in the country
• Prepare monthly sales reports for veterinary drugs
• Review tender documents both for livestock/drugs/feeds supply and provision of technical assistance
• Conduct field supervision to ensure the quality of drugs imported and distributed by RABSCO LTD
• Work in collaboration with other implementing partners to maintain sustainability of RABSCO LTD standards’
• Ensure that resources assigned to him/her are properly and efficiently utilized;

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training.

• Minimum Qualification required: Bachelor of Veterinary Medecine,
• Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in Livestock production and disease control related works
•  Other requirements:
• Be a Rwandan National
•  Not sentenced up to six months in prison by National courts in Rwanda
• Be ready to start job immediately
• Hold a valid driving license category B
• Holding a valid driving license category A is an asset
• Be proficient on computer Microsoft word, excel and power point
