JOB DETAILS:
  Ministry Of Agriculture And Animal Resources
Reports To Director General of strategic planning and Programs Coordination.

  Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership to the development and implementation of Programs within the Strategic Planning and Programs Coordination,
• Work closely with other units within MINAGRI, its agencies and projects,
• Serves as a key advisor in agriculture related policy formulation, analysis, implementation and dissemination,
• Maintain an active and dynamic policy dialogue with other Government institutions and private sector to facilitate technical discussions and engage in effective policy development and change in agriculture,
• Draft policy documents and write policy briefs on a regular basis,
• Coordinate meetings on key issues related to agriculture policy,
• Be responsible for Agriculture Sector Working Group meetings (preparation, reporting and following up recommendations)
• Work closely with Non
• Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Societies and Development Partners for the development of Agriculture Sector;
• Report on the status of all Non
• Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Societies and Development Partners operating in theAgriculture Sector;
• Assist the Director of Strategic Planning and Programs Coordination to:
• coordinate the preparation of short, medium and long term investment plans for agriculture sector,
• monitor macroeconomic coherence in agriculture sector,
• coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of agricultural programs in collaboration with the Directorates General of Crop and Animal Production,
• produce regular reports for the agricultural sector,
• coordinate new projects formulation,
• Coordinate multilateral and bilateral cooperation and reporting.
• Provide support in other areas of work and undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the management of the Ministry.
