About the role:
The COO is tasked with implementing daily operations, aligned with long-term goals and the company’s strategies, while well handling the operational management backbone with the aim for enhancing the performance of support functions (back-office). Leading a multi-functional operations covering finance, human resources, compliance and IT, the COO shall have exceptional relationship, verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Key objectives of this Role:
• Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs;
• Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating plan;
• Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met;
• Adhere to company, international, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary
• Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with (Country) regulations and laws governing business operations
Responsibilities:
• Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement;
• Develop, with the collaboration of the heads of the platforms actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO;
• Directly oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CEO and/or the heads of the CBU on productivity management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term;
• Aggressively manage capital investment, in tandem with the CFO, and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability;
• Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting;
• Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Develops and implements procedures and controls to ensure security and accountability and accurate information flow within the organization.
• Participates in the design of hardware and software systems to assist in the smooth and efficient flow of information
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
• 10+ years experience as a management consultant or managing operations at a strategic level
• Strong business acumen
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
•
• French language abilities a plus
