Development Of Concept Note on Climate and Environmental Financial Risk Management Assessment tender at Umwalimu Sacco

UMWALIMU SACCO (Umwalimu Savings and Credit Cooperative) hereby invites qualified and experienced financial risk management consulting firms/Companies to submit proposals for developing a Concept Note focused on Climate-Related and Environmental Financial Risk Management Assessment. 

The objective of this initiative is to support a comprehensive evaluation of climate-related and environmental risks and their financial impacts on UMWALIMU SACCO’s operations, contributing to sustainable, resilient, and climate-conscious financial practices.

Competent bidders can obtain the details of the tender along with the terms & conditions from Umwalimu SACCO Head office KIMIRONKO-GASABO-KIGALI; Street No: KG 205 ST on any working day with effect from 21/08/2025 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand Rwandan francs (Frw 10,000) on account No.00040-00288891-58 of UMWALIMU SACCO opened in Bank of Kigali.

Prices quoted shall be inclusive of any applicable taxes and shall remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of the tender. 

Proposals will be evaluated under a Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) process. The interested bidders must submit proposals in two separate sealed envelopes (Technical Offer and Financial Offer), enclosed within a larger outer envelope clearly labeled:

“DEVELOPMENT OF CONCEPT NOTE ON CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL FINANCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT”

Well detailed bids containing three copies:
one original copy and two other copies with a mention to the outer envelope “DEVELOPMENT OF CONCEPT NOTE ON CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL FINANCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT”shall be presented to Umwalimu SACCO Head office in the General Secretariat in a sealed envelope addressed to the Director General of Umwalimu SACCO, P.O BOX 2257 KIGALI, not later than 20/09/2025 at 10:00 AM Local time.
The public opening of the bids shall be held on the same day at 10:30 AM Local time in the Umwalimu SACCO Conference room. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
