Job Description

• Coordinate activities of all District Agriculture Inspectors;
  
• To represent MINAGRI in all Districts of Kigali City;
  
• To coordinate the implementation of policies and strategies related to agriculture and animal resources;
  
• To assist in the preparation and coordination of various programs of the Ministry implemented in the Districts of operation;
  
• To disseminate MINAGRI’s directives, guidelines and programs to local leaders, agribusinesses, farmers’ organizations and NGOs;
  
• To cooperate and collaborate with all key players in the agricultural sector;
  
• Work closely with the Kigali City authorities to enable the smooth running of agricultural activities;
  
• Provide the activities monthly report and other necessary report to the Permanent Secretary;
  
• Monitor the disbursement and expenditure of earmarked funds to the Districts;
  
• Work closely with RAB stations and NAEB zonal staff implementing agricultural activities in the Kigali City;
  
• Supervise the implementation of MIS in Kigali City
  

Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Sciences, Crop Production, Agribusiness, Horticulture with 2 years of working experience or Master’s Degree in Agriculture Sciences, Crop Production, Agri business, Horticulture
