Health Poverty Action (HPA) is a UK based NGO working to strengthen poor and marginalised people in their struggle for health through development initiatives in 13 countries and campaigning for change.

JOB DETAILS:
HPA is currently recruiting a committed and experienced Driver for its DFID funded programme REAP (Girls’ Education and Advancement Programme) implemented in Nyaruguru District. The recruited staff will be based in HPA’s Huye office with frequent travels to Nyaruguru, and will work closely with HPA staff based in Kigali.

Requirements

  • Education qualification of having passed Secondary School (certificate of Secondary School).
  • Good/ medium spoken and written English
  • Aged between 30 – 40 years
  • Good track record of driving
  • Must be reliable, honest and hardworking
  • Holder of a driving license B category with knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
  • Rwandan citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Drive all projects personnel/visitors
  • Delivery of documents, goods, etc.
  • Keep vehicles clean
