JOB DETAILS:
Ministry Of Public Service And Labour .

Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct analytical assessment of Labour Force Survey and propose solutions to highlighted challenges;
• Monitor the labour market evolution and provide the corresponding statistics;
• Evaluate indicators and consolidate the data handled by centralized and decentralized institutions related to employment promotion;
• Conduct adaptive research on labour market to inform policy making;
• Initiate labour research studies to inform labour employment interventions, programs and policies
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of the national policies and programmes implemented to facilitate job creation;
• Forecast labor market activities with regard to future prospects for employment.
• Analyze labour market information and interpret labour markets dynamics and trends of employment indicators;
• Assist in identifying new program interventions to foster employment and their monitoring and evaluation framework;
• Coordinate and supervise the mainstreaming of employment across economy;
• Work Closely with RDB in monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of National Employment Program;
• Conduct mapping and analysis of job rich projects in public and private projects;
• Monitor and evaluate employment targets in job rich projects;

Job Qualifications:
• A Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics with one year of relevant working experience or Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Statistics with 3 years of relevant working experience;
• Relevant experience should be in employment promotion or monitoring and evaluation;
• Ability to provide technical advice and build strong working relations with a wider range of stakeholders;
• Experience in working with the private sector;
• Good analytical skills;
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills;
• Demonstrable strong communication and writing skills with the ability to both draft and analyze policy documents and reports.
