Rwanda National Investment Trust ltd (RNIT Ltd) is a collective investment management company established by the government of Rwanda with a mission to promote the culture of savings by designing products (including unit trusts) that suit the various investment needs of the people.
RNIT is hence seeking to recruit self-motivated and qualified person to fill the following post:
Position: Marketing, Sales and Public Relations Officer
Duration of contract: One (1) year renewable
Summary of Responsibilities

• Manage the national marketing campaign for RNIT ltd
• Draft speeches, press releases, statements, media advisories, letters-to-the-editor and guest opinion editorials, organize press conferences and briefings;
• Monitor news developments, screen and respond to press queries and requests for information, arrange interviews including preparing briefings for interviews and reporters;
• Prepare annual/quarterly communication work-plans as a part of the action plan in the RNIT ltd development program;
• Oversee the preparation of the RNIT ltd 's newsletter and Annual Report, booklets, brochures and other publications
• Creating relevant and timely content for website and social media including responses to the posts and updates / review of content
• Plan and implement the promotion campaigns related to RNIT ltd 's products and activities;
• Elaborate and ensure internal communication for a better implementation of the communication plan;
• Organize social corporate activities to improve the RNIT ltd
• Designing business development strategies for RNIT Ltd
• Prepare for unit holder meetings and presentations;
• Any other tasks allocated by the Supervisor.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer skills
• Ability to establish, train and motivate a team of interns/other youth groups that will participate in delivering the sales plan
• Effective public relations and public speaking skills
• Interviewing skills
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French
• Maintain media relations for reaching the general public, arranging interviews for newspapers, TV, radio, e-media to cover education programs in the various regions in Rwanda;
• Assist RNIT ltd in developing and implementing a communication strategy.
  Summary of requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Communication/Journalism, Sales or Marketing with 2 years of experience.
• Other technical skills and knowledge required:
• Result oriented, reliable and able to prioritize work with tight deadlines
• Be energetic and passionate about marketing ideas and products;
• Resilient about achieving personal work goals and objectives
• Demonstrate a high level of initiative, self-motivation and action oriented
• Ability to interact with all kinds of Clients,
• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
