Job Description
Title: Refugee Technical Advisor
Under contract for one year (Renewable based upon positive performance assessment)
Location: Kigali
Level: 3.II
Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in setting up a Monitoring and Evaluation system for MIDIMAR partners’ projects;
• Assess and ascertain whether partners’ projects related to refugees are supportive of national and local development goals;
• Monitor if partners’ projects implemented with MIDIMAR are in line with guiding principles and the code of conduct defined by the Refugees Management Policy;
• Identify potential problems/issues linked with Refugees projects implementation for remedial actions and to elevate unresolved issues and problems to the direct hierarchy for resolution and final action;
• Provide information on lessons learned in partners’ projects implemented with MIDIMAR implementation for planning and implementation of future similar project;
• Participation in setting up a Monitoring and evaluation system for MIDIMAR partner’s project; related to Refugees;
• Propose corrective actions to the project implementing agent based on the above.
• Design new projects in line with the core mission of the Ministry;
• Provide technical advises on Refugees related projects.
  Job Profile
  Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, Humanitarian Sciences
  Or
• Bachelor’s in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, Law, Humanitarian Studies with 3 years working experience
  Key Technical skills knowledge required:
• High level of analytical capability,
• Writing and presentation skills;
• Strong knowledge of the data collection, treatment, and manipulation techniques typically associated with it;
• Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda (oral and written) a minimum working knowledge of French is an advantage.
