Solid Africa has received financing from the Facility Investing for Employment (IFE), which is an investment facility created by KfW Development Bank (KfW) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as an integral part of the Special Initiative "Decent Work for a Just Transition, toward the cost of the project with the ICAN Building Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract(s) 1 for ICAN building project.

Solid Africa now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for ICAN Construction project Works. Bidding will be conducted by means of the National Competitive Bidding procedure with qualification as specified in the "Procurement Procedures for Recipients" from the facility Investing for Employment (IFE) and/or KfW Guidelines for Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and associated Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries ("KfW Guidelines").

A complete set of bidding documents is available to interested Bidders. Tender Documents in English may be requested by the interested bidders through procurement@solidafrica.org. or alternatively, downloaded in English from our website https://www.solidafrica.org by clicking on tenders. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information by sending their inquiries to procurement@solidafrica.org A Compulsory site visit is scheduled 17/09/2024 and will be conducted by Solid Africa construction and procurement team.

Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in three copies, one of which is the original, must be delivered to Solid Africa procurement office, Nyagahinga, Rusororo, Gasabo, Kigali - Rwanda for Solid 'Africa Mike Stenbock Gemura Kitchen or Email PDF password-encrypted copies to procurement@solidafrica.org not later than Tuesday 1st October 2024 at 4:00pm local time. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened irrespective of circumstances.

Bids opening will be held on the same day at 4:30pm Solid Africa procurement office, Nyagahinga, Rusororo, Gasabo, Kigali - Rwanda for Solid'Africa Mike Stenbock Gemura opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives. Bids will remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline of their submission. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security.
