Background:
The Senior Budget and Programming Associate will be responsible for providing procedural and technical support in the areas of budget and programming to ensure compliance with WFP financial policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an escalation point in providing support to staff within budget and programming areas
- Review budget plans and conduct financial performance analysis
- Support resource management and planning
- Coordinate spot checks of cooperating partners
- Prepare comprehensive reports and data visualization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, MIS, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of data management experience
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, SAP, or other analytical tools
Experience:
At least 5 years in data management with hands-on experience in trend analysis and financial planning.
